Special Needs

Alpina School does its best to meet the needs of all students. Sometimes this requires special services to be brought into the classroom by a special education teacher or perhaps some individualized assistance in a different setting. When it has been determined that a student would benefit from these services, a program is set up by the IEP (Individualized Education Plan) team which includes parents, teachers and specialists. With this help, all students are able to participate in their age appropriate curriculum and peer group.
