Alpina School derives its distinctive strength from the founding
members of this school. Run by Mr. Nasim Jafri and Mrs. Najma Jafri
it is a cornerstone for junior and high school learning. Both are
outstanding educationists and absolutely dedicated to their educational
cause. Mr. Jafri has been in the teaching profession for more than
forty years. Among his extensive and varied educational experience
he has held the coveted position of Superintendent & Principal
American International School, Iran for three years. He has also
taught ESL, TOEFL and SAT classes to Americans for different multinationals
and has held numerous Teacher Training Labs. Currently, apart from
handling the administrative side of the school, he is Member UNO
Educational Development Council for Asia & Middle East; Member
of International School Services, New Jersey; Chairman Supreme Council
Overseas Pakistani's Welfare Organization; Member of Pakistan Institute
of National Affairs; and Patron-in-Chief, Private Schools Association,
Bahawalpur Division.
Mrs. Jafri is the backbone of this school. She started this school
in April 1983 with just two classes and two students - but today,
due to her highest academic standards and excellent control, she
manages four modern and spacious school campuses in Bahawalpur and
one branch in Hasilpur. She has taught at junior and high school
levels in American International School, Iran and Pakistan Embassy
School, Tehran. With Mr. Jafri's professional wisdom and Mrs. Jafri's
creative academic flair Alpina School cannot help standing out as
one of the best centers of education. Together, their contribution
to education in Pakistan is immense. So many institutions and individuals
are thankful to them for their support, advice, and counsel. Their
son, Saad Jafri has also joined them as the Academic Coordinator
after having completed his MBA and having worked with various multinationals.
The staff at Alpina School are committed to ensuring that high
academic, social and moral standards are achieved by providing a
caring, secure and stimulating environment, where each child is
provided with a wealth of experiential and investigative learning
experiences in a broad and balanced curriculum.
