Pre-School, Solid Foundation
Alpina School is the 1st school to start Playgroup classes (ages 3) in Pakistan. Over the last 40 years, we have built our customised curriculum and activities to give children the most solid start in life.

IT Classes from Class 1
Empowering students with the latest technology right from the start, we introduce PCs from Play Group. Formal classes start from Class 1 onwards.

Nazirah with Tafseer
Children are encouraged to become better people by becoming better Muslims. We pioneered Nazirah classes in 1992, in which children learn the proper way to recite the Holy Quran with the correct origins. The children complete their Nazirah by Class 5. Many schools have also modelled their Nazirah curriculum on ours.
Library & Reading Room
The main libraries are run by qualified librarians. There are more than 10,000 books, all labelled according to class levels. The subject or class teachers use the library computer and audio & visual aids to reinforce any topic they are teaching. Each classroom also has its own small collection of reference and fiction books.
School Band & Music Classes
Alpina is the only private school in the district to have its own School Band. Supervised by professional P.T. and music masters, the school band is a treat to listen to. Children are introduced to creative and disciplined expression at an early age.

Audio Visual Aids; TV & Video Facilities
Apart from access to computers, Primary classes have their own audio and visual facilities which are used by teachers in interactive activities with the children.
Playgrounds and Sports Activities
Each school has its own playground and sports teams. Apart from inter-school fixtures, the students get to play with outside teams as well.
Other Activities
Extra-curricular activities often provide a means for children to develop their talents in fields of interest other than academics. The opportunity also provides children with the chance to further develop social skills and close relationships with other pupils and teachers. Among the various activities and avenues offered by Alpine School are: Funfairs, Plays, Quiz Competitions, Drama Competitions, Community Services, Science, English & Urdu Societies, Music Society (School Band), Scouting, Bazm-e-Adab, Hamd, Naat & Qirat Competitions, School Magazine, Inter & Intra Branch Sports, and a host of other activities.
We also take children on Expeditions and Field trips with full staff supervision. Every class has its own Annual Picnic and if possible, at least one visit to a public institution or educational location.
