Alpina Schools & Colleges is a well-established educational institution with a distinguished history spanning over four decades. Founded in 1983, Alpina provides a comprehensive, world-class education to more than 3,500 students across 12 campuses in Bahawalpur, Hasilpur, and Lodhran.

Offering academic pathways from Play Group to Intermediate and GCE O Level, Alpina serves students from early childhood through adolescence. The institution is affiliated with the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE), the British Council, and the Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB), ensuring recognised academic standards and equitable opportunities for all learners.

Mrs Najma Jafri

Founding Directress

With over 40 years of experience in teaching and educational leadership, Mrs Najma Jafri stands as the academic cornerstone of Alpina Schools & Colleges. Her vision and steadfast commitment to high standards have been central to the school’s growth and reputation. Under her guidance, Alpina has developed into an institution known for academic rigour, ethical values, and responsible citizenship. Her leadership continues to ensure that international best practices inform both curriculum and school culture.


Mr Saad Jafri

Director

Mr Saad Jafri holds an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, and brings nearly three decades of experience in management and administration across education and multinational organisations. His strategic approach combines educational insight with operational excellence, ensuring that Alpina’s institutions are managed with efficiency, accountability, and long-term sustainability.


Mrs Tania Jafri

Head of Academics & Pre-Primary Education

Mrs Tania Jafri holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom, and has academic and professional experience with internationally recognised institutions, including the University of Portsmouth and the University of Canterbury. As Head of Academics and Pre-Primary Education, she brings depth of expertise and a strong pedagogical foundation to curriculum development, early-years education, and academic continuity across levels.


Mr Babur Jafri

Head of Extracurricular Activities & Editor-in-Chief

Mr Babur Jafri holds Master’s degrees in English Language and Literature from the University of Malaya and Punjab University, Lahore. A scholar of language and the arts, he leads Alpina’s extracurricular programmes and oversees all school and college publications. His work plays a central role in nurturing students’ cultural awareness, creative expression, and communication skills.


Mr Nasim Jafri (Late)

The passing of Mr Nasim Jafri, Founding Director of Alpina Schools & Colleges, marked a profound loss for the institution and the wider educational community.
